It has a day hospice, an inpatient unit (housed in friendly surroundings) and community based nursing, pastoral and bereavement support teams.

The League of Friends helps to raise funds, increase awareness of the work of the Hospice; and ensure that funds raised are used for the benefit of patients, their families (including children) and carers. Funding changes mean that the Charity must raise a great deal more from 2011 onwards than previously.
